Why are you running?
To give back to the community what the community has given to me.

2. Protect natural resources from big companies
3.Help rural schools survive.
If you could change one thing about how Augusta functions, what would it be and why?
I would change the excessive spending that Augusta has become known for. I would change this because we are creating such an excessively high debt burden that our children will not be able to stay in our state and build their future.
What is the biggest challenge facing Maine? The biggest opportunity?
The biggest challenge facing Maine is bringing good paying jobs to the state. The biggest opportunity Maine has its citizens. The residents of this state are hard workers, willing to tackle challenges, be it of the employment field, or helping a neighbor in need.
As one of several dozen legislators in your chamber, how would you make a measurable difference for your constituents?
By having an open mind and being willing to work with everyone, even those from “across the aisle.” I would encourage others to do the same. A good idea is a good idea, no matter the source that generated it.
