Understanding and digesting how test scores in the school system can be used to improve the system. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. Using my financial expertise to help other board members understand governmental financing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3. Bringing the school system into the future.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-e44e021b wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-4-font-size\">Why are you running?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-left is-style-short-red\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was a member of the Budget Advisory Committee and felt that the community members on that board need to have more of role than just being an advisory committee. I feel that the school system needs to make some changes.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-e44e021b wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-h-4-font-size\">What is the biggest challenge facing your community? The biggest opportunity?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity is-style-left is-style-short-red\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Taxes in our town and neighboring towns have been rising at a very high rate, and understanding the needs of our biggest expense and how we can control it or change it will better put us in a financial situation.
