Workers look into a sinkhole caused by a broken water main in Chicago on April 18, 2013, when heavy rains and flooding brought havoc to the Chicago area, shutting major expressways, delaying commuter trains for hours, canceling flights, flooding basements and closing dozens of suburban schools. On the city's South Side, the sinkhole opened up on a residential street, swallowing three cars, according to the Chicago Police Department. One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries.
