I have lived in Monmouth for 13 years, have owned small businesses, have different committee experiences, and have an interest in town finances, communication and long-term playing efforts.

Top three priorities
My top priorities are listening to residents, taking time to do the research, ask the questions needed to make well-informed decisions that serve the town long term, and work together for the common good.
Why are you running?
I am running because I care deeply about this town and the people who live here. I believe we need a more commonsense approach to how the town spends money so the town can support long-term economic growth. I am running to offer a fresh perspective and ideas to cut town spending, clear and open communications, and grow the economy for long-term planning.
What is the biggest challenge facing your community? The biggest opportunity?
High property taxes and lack of clear expense information can be really challenging in a small town, but it can also be an opportunity to work on transparency and welcome open communication with all residents to get the town spending back into alignment.
If you could change one thing about how your community functions, what would it be and why?
Monthly town hall meetings outside of the select board meeting to allow residents an open forum to discuss their concerns, questions, and hopefully come to solutions to the issues at hand to present to the Select Board.
Do you support more development in your community? Why or why not?
I am not against growth and development; currently housing construction/development is underway on Main Street. I do, however, believe we need to cut further spending, lean into discovering new ideas and potential opportunities so the town can increase its economy.
