Top three priorities
1. To bring any knowledge I can to the school district and hopefully be an asset.
2. I believe that everyone should be treated fairly and hope to push forward that message.
3. To work alongside the other school board members as a team to make our schools the best we can for the students.
Why are you running?
I want to be able to give back to our community.
What is the biggest challenge facing your area’s schools? The biggest opportunity?
I feel the biggest challenge is being able to provide all of the services that the students need to achieve their goals in school.
If you could change one thing about how your local schools function, what would it be and why?
I would like to see more community involvement and volunteering to help our students succeed.
Do you think the state government is too involved in local schooling? Not involved enough? The right amount of involved? Explain your answer.
I feel that in some cases, state government has overstepped in local schooling. I think that people who live in the actual community where the school is might have a better idea of its needs and feelings on certain issues.
