Education

Previous campaigns and elected office(s) held

Ran two previous times for Area 2 Town Council seat, won and served four years. After that, ran for budget committee and served an additional three years.

Top three priorities

Traffic concerns in congested areas and school zones, compatibility between housing and business construction, and a fair and balanced budget.

Why are you running?

To serve the entire town of Standish and participate in future changes that will affect how the growth of the town will proceed

What is the biggest challenge facing your community? The biggest opportunity?

Biggest challenge will be how housing and business will be able to co-exist in the atmosphere of pro and cons within the town. Biggest opportunity would be to have reasonable business in town for employment opportunities and help with the tax base.

If you could change one thing about how your community functions, what would it be and why?

One thing I would change is how information from the town is distributed to residents. People now have to search for information and complain it’s not available and too complicated to find.

Do you support more development in your community? Why or why not?

I do support housing and business development with fair practices to try and keep a “small-town” atmosphere.
