Squirrel causes Lewiston outage
LEWISTON (AP) — A power outage that knocked out electricity to thousands of homes and businesses in Lewiston is being blamed on a squirrel. A spokeswoman for Central Maine Power Co. says a squirrel got into a substation on Thursday afternoon and caused about 6,200 customers to loser power in Maine’s second-largest city.
