PORTLAND — Doris Kiley, 89, of Portland, died June 19 at Maine Medical Center.

She was born in Portland on July 2, 1923, the second of three children of Arthur and Ingabor Kelsen.

Kiley was 100 percent Danish and was very proud of her heritage. She spent a short time living in Denmark as a child, living the rest of her life in Portland, raising a family and working for many years at Data General.

Kiley was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Kiley; her brother, Arthur Kelsen and a grandson, Eddie McLeod III.

She is survived by her three daughters, Laurie Kiley, Sharon Kiley and Sandra McLeod; five grandchildren, Tom Crockett, Cammie Robinson, Rob Mains, Kristen Flink and Karena Marlow; 11 great-grandchildren and her brother, Laurence Kelsen.

A funeral service was held June 26, at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 97 Allen Ave., Portland, followed by interment at Pine Grove Cemetery,  in Falmouth.
