The Windham Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled two upcoming community forums to receive input from Windham residents on future goals of the program. The first meeting is scheduled for Thursday, Jan. 19 at the Manchester School and the second is set for Tuesday, Feb. 17 at the Windham Primary School. Both forums start at 7 p.m.
The purpose of the community forums is two-fold. The first is to find out whether residents support a new park adjacent to the property of the Skate Park on Route 202. If so, department officials want to know what type of features residents would like to see in the multi-generational park. The second goal of the forums is to look at the bigger picture of what residents would like to see in terms of programs and facilities in the next five years.
