Many people do not know that Medicare covers the hospice benefit 100 percent.

Donna Teague, volunteer coordinator at Beacon Hospice, will present an overview of the Medicare hospice benefit and the unique role of the hospice volunteer, at a special presentation Thursday, May 15 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at Unity Gardens, 124 Tandberg Trail (Route 115), Windham.

Southern Maine Agency on Aging is sponsoring the presentation and invites you to come and learn about the comfort and quality that end of life care can bring to a patient and family.
