Police arrested four people at a South Portland apartment Feb. 28, on charges of aggravated cocaine trafficking.

The arrests were made by officers of the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency, South Portland and Portland police, at the Skillins Street apartment of Anna Broad, 40, and her boyfriend Roland Foster, 33.

The couple was arrested, as were James Morrison, 29, and Dwayne Byers, 21, both of Philadelphia.

MDEA Director Roy McKinney alleged that Morrison and Byers were restocking cocaine dealers in Portland and South Portland, including Broad. He also said Morrison is wanted for escaping from police custody in Philadelphia.

Police seized 2.5 ounces of cocaine bagged for distribution, $8,000 in cash and two handguns. One of the guns was stolen from Philadelphia and the other was equipped with a laser sight.
