Bradbury Mountain, Pownal, 6 a.m. For those unable to climb to the peak, a service will also be held at the park shelter. Severe weather location is at First Congregational Church, Pownal, where coffee and doughnuts will be served after the service. First Baptist Church of Freeport is co-sponsoring the service.
South Freeport Wharf, 6 a.m., Sunrise Service sponsored by South Freeport Congregational Church.
Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco, 6 a.m., family Dawning Service offered by United Baptist Church of Saco, weather permitting.
Weymouth Cross, 6 a.m., on the hill above Thomaston Harbor. Breakfast follows at the Baptist Church.
Mt. Battie summit, 6 a.m., Camden Hills State Park, followed by breakfast at Chestnut Street Baptist Church.

Easter Egg Hunt, 10:30 a.m., on the lawn at Cathedral of St. Luke, State Street, Portland. All are welcome.
Helicopter Egg Drop, presented by Next Level Church after the 10:15 a.m. service at Cinemagic Theaters, 333 Clarks Pond Parkway, South Portland. Free tickets will be given to children at the service and who have also registered in advance at www.2012eggdrop.com. The location will be announced at the service.
Community Easter Dinner, noon, appetizers followed by a meal at 1 p.m., sponsored by Adas Yoshuron Synagogue and held at St. Peter’s Church, Rockland. Meal is free and open to the public. For more information or to help with cooking, cleaning, set-up or serving, call the synagogue at 594-4523.
Wednesday
Morning Bible Study, 7:30 a.m., start of a new weekly program held upstairs in the rector’s office at Episcopal Church of St. John Baptist, Thomaston. Open to all with coffee and tea provided. Call 354-8734 for details.
“Stories of Heroes and Heroines as the Source of Our Hope and the Grounds of Our Promise,” 7 p.m., Saint Joseph’s College, Alfond Center gymnasium, 278 Whites Bridge Road, Standish. With the Rev. Monk Malloy, CSC, University of Notre Dame president, faculty member and author. Talk is free and open to the public. Presented in conjunction with the college’s 100th anniversary celebration. A question-and-answer period follows the presentation, and light refreshments will be served. Call 893-7723 for more information.

“Daily Devotions” and First Radio Parish Church of America have been awarded a $15,000 production grant for on-location shooting by Odyssey Networks of New York City. First Radio Parish Church of America has raised the matching money to continue its broadcasting and production. Local broadcasts are at 5 a.m. daily on WCSH-TV (Channel 6) and WLBZ-TV (Channel 2).
