Stantec in Scarborough has hired Jessica Strauss Hunt as a project manager and environmental scientist. She has 15 years of experience in field data collection and analysis, water quality monitoring, environmental permitting, watershed evaluations, and stormwater management. She will focus on providing stormwater and watershed management services.

Hunt earned a master’s degree in natural resources at the University of New Hampshire. She also studied wildlife management at the School for Field Studies in Kenya and studied seabirds with the Maine-based Project Puffin.
