LYMAN — The Board of Directors of the Community Library invite all Lyman and Dayton residents to a Library Visioning Session.
The purpose is to provide the board of directors with community input regarding what the Community Library might look like in 1, 5, 10 and 20 years from now, what programs should be added, changed or eliminated; possible renovation and new construction ideas, and specific community needs the library should address, etc.
The Visioning Session will be held on Tuesday, April 14, at 7 p.m. All interested Lyman and Dayton citizens are encouraged to attend and provide guidance to the board. The community library is located at 10 John St. in Lyman.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
