BIDDEFORD — Marion J. Bourgault, 79, of Biddeford, passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015, at her home.

She was born in Kennebunk on Nov. 25, 1935, a son of Earl and Josephine (Simpson) Sullivan. She graduated from Kennebunk High School.

After high school, Marion married her husband George and they moved to Florida and started their family.

In 1977, the family moved back to Maine. Marion was employed by Costar in Kennebunk and Walmart in Biddeford for several years.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed watching movies and traveling. She was known for her brownies and fudge. Most of all, she loved her family and cats.

She is preceded in death by: her husband, George, on July 24, 2010; one son, John “Jay” Albert Bourgault; and one brother, Earl “Sonny” Sullivan.

She is survived by: four children, Michael Bourgault of Biddeford, Cheryle Lessard and her husband Carl of Biddeford, Gregory Bourgault and his wife Denise of Saco, and Terri Trask of Biddeford; one brother, Kenneth Sullivan and his wife Mary; one sister, Karen Moorse; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved their Nannie.

Visiting hours will be from 4-6 p.m., Thursday, March 19, 2015, with a funeral service at 5:30 p.m. that same day, at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco.

Burial will be in the spring in Woodlawn Cemetery in Biddeford.
