NEW FACES
• Jonathan Viera and Janelle Hanson were hired as benefits assistants in the claims department at Custom Disability Solutions, a reinsurer in South Portland.
Viera, of Brunswick, is a 2011 graduate of Bowdoin College.
Hanson lives in Portland.
• John Holdridge was hired as creative director of The Telling Room. Holdridge was previously with the Maine Arts Commission. He has several years of experience as a performer, teaching artist, professional development facilitator and university instructor working in the field of creative literacy development.
• Anna Eleanor Roosevelt was named chief executive officer for Goodwill Industries of Northern New England. Roosevelt recently served as vice president of global corporate citizenship for the Boeing Company in Chicago.
• Christina De Marco Deetjen recently joined Legacy Properties Sothebys International Realty as a real estate broker. De Marco Deetjen specializes in properties in the Blue Hill Peninsula and Mt. Desert Island. She is a member of the Mid Coast Board of Realtors and the Maine Association of Realtors.
• Andrew Gilmore was hired as the town manager of Sabattus. Gilmore is the owner of ABG Strategies LLC, a private consulting firm in Yarmouth. He has served as part-time assistant in Sabattus and manager and director of development since March of 2010.
• Warren Cook was named general manager of Maine Organic Milling in Auburn. Cook worked previously in the ski resort industry and spent 12 years in manufacturing operations.
• Richard Spies joined Tilson Technology Management as a senior consultant for its information technology and information security groups.
• Lisa Grant joined the firm as a project coordinator for Tilson’s wireless and telecommunications group.
• Dr. Andrew Powell was hired at Goodall Hospital as medical director of its emergency department. Powell was recently a physician in the emergency department at Portsmouth Regional Hospital in New Hampshire and worked on a per diem basis at Goodall Hospital.
• Patrice Putman joined the law firm Levey and Wagley, P.A., in Winthrop. Putman had worked as director of employee development for MaineGeneral Health; director of community relations for HealthReach Network; and was a trial attorney for the Maine Department of Transportation.
• Derek Miller joined CBRE | The Boulos Company as an associate in its Portland office. He was previously with Newmark Knight Frank.
• Crossroads for Women has expanded its staff.
Carol Rico of Scarborough joined the senior management team as the agency finance director. Rico was previously director of finance and development for the Northeast Hearing and Speech Center.
Allyson Goldman-Putman of South Portland was hired as a client services counselor at Greater Portland Counseling Center.
Andie Wishman of Gray joined Windham Counseling Center as an outpatient clinician.
Kiely Foley of South Portland; Ericka Smith of Saco; and Cindy Ambrogne-O’Toole of Scarborough were hired as outpatient clinicians at Kennebunk Counseling Center.
Jessica Gettinger of Biddeford was hired as an administrative assistant at Kennebunk Counseling Center.
• R. Todd Walker has taken over the Farm Family Insurance Agency of Cumberland and Sagahoc Counties. Walker was formerly with UNUM/Colonial Life as a regional manager.
• Kerry Rasor was appointed director of sales at the Embassy Suites Hotel. Rasor was previously vice president of the Portland Regional Chamber. She had previously worked in the hotel industry at the former Sheraton South Portland, the Eastland Park Hotel and the Bethel Inn & Country Club.
• Dr. Carol Seavor was named chairperson of the Department of Nursing at Saint Joseph’s College. Seavor held many positions in nursing education administration and is the author of numerous articles on nursing education and practice. She had retired in 2010 after serving as president of Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Va., for eight years.
• Rae Hebert, former executive chef at Aurora Provisions, joined the staff at Clementine Restaurant in Brunswick. Hebert will spearhead its future catering division.
• Tony Pagliocco and Sylvia Kinnicutt were hired at Digital Research, Inc. in Kennebunk.
Pagliocco, of Wells, was named director of technology. He was previously director of product at EmpowHER.com and director of technology and product development at SheKnows.com.
Kinnicutt, of Dover, N.H., was named a research associate. She was formerly the research associate at The Boston College Center for Corporate Citizenship.
• Saint Joseph’s College hired the following individuals to its staff:
Dr. Colleen Dutile joined the nursing faculty and will teach community nursing and nursing leadership and management. Dutile, of Rangeley, was previously an associate professor of nursing at Central Maine Medical Center College of Nursing.
Dr. Colleen Sullivan of Kennebunk joined the psychology faculty and will teach courses in introductory and developmental psychology.
Suellen Chaplin-Beckett of Gray was hired to teach mental health nursing and contribute to the community, leadership and holistic curriculum.
• Ed Pontius, M.D, has returned to Sweetser’s psychiatric medication management team in Brunswick. Dr. Pontius previously served as Sweetser’s medical director from 2002 to 2005, and most recently served as medical director for the Assertive Community Treatment team in Portland.
• Randy Lussier joined Jobg8, North America as an account manager. Lussier has worked in business development for the past nine years, including the past three years in the staffing industry with Robert Half International.
• Keith B. Gosselin joined InfoSecurus as a senior information security consultant. Gosselin, of Biddeford, has nearly 20 years of experience in information technology and information security. Most recently, Gosselin was vice president of Information Technology at Biddeford Savings Bank.
• Kyle N. Kirby joins Pierce Atwood LLP as an associate in the firm’s litigation practice group. Kirby was a summer associate at Pierce Atwood and legal intern for the Hon. Kermit V. Lipez, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
• Linda Thompson was hired as a senior stylist and Goldwell Color Specialist at Campus Cutters in Lewiston. Thompson has more than 14 years of salon experience. She had worked at Maggio Hair Studio in Conway, N.H. for the past seven years.
• Michael Mattison was hired at the University of Maine at Machias as dean of enrollment management. Mattison, of Sebring, Florida, was formerly with Webber International University, where he served as director of admissions.
• John Chase and Edie Fontaine have opened Alliance Realty at 1 Percy Hawkes Road in Windham.
Chase has more than 25 years of experience in the real estate industry.
Fontaine joined Alliance as an owner and designated broker. She has experience as an agent and real estate educator.
