DEER ISLE — Adrienne Chamberlin passed away peacefully at home on Deer Isle following a courageous 20-year battle with brain cancer. He loving parents were at her side.

She was born in Ithaca, New York on March 23, 1972. She grew up in Lebanon, Maine and attended local schools. She especially enjoyed her junior year at Ithaca College’s London Center. Adrienne subsequently earned a master’s degree in English Literature at the University of Maine in Orono, and later earned a second master’s in Library and Information Science at Simmons College.

Adrienne lived in the Boston area where she worked as producer and editor with Francisco Ricardo as they established Conceptualist Films, creating documentaries. She also produced seven albums of music. An enthusiastic anglophile, Adrienne was an expert in English culture.

Adrienne reached and inspired many people wit her positive attitude and determination. Reading and easily learning any subject dominated her life until the end. She was known for excellent writing skills and her command of language.

She is survived by her parents Gail and Dennis Chamberlain of Deer Isle, Maine; her brother Benjamin and his wife Danielle of Lebanon, Maine; two nieces Emily Goss and her husband Thomas, and Mackenzie Kimball; and her great-niece Keelan Goss; and many special aunts, uncles, and cousins. She will be greatly missed by her loving friend, Francisco Ricardo.

A celebration of her life will be planned for next summer.
