A bake sale at the North Saco Congregational Christian Church located at the corner of Flag Pond, Heath and Rocky Hill Road will feature pies, whoopie pies, cookies and breads as well as a hot dog luncheon from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The Enchanted Bazaar is coming to The Hampton Inn in Saco from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This is a free event accepting donations of non-perishable food items to benefit the Saco Food Pantry. There will be a huge selection of artwork, jewelry, crystals and hand crafted goods.

The annual “HarborFEST” hosted by the Wells Rotary Club will be held at Wells Harbor Park, 331 Harbor Road, from noon to 10 p.m. The event includes a chicken barbecue from noon to 3 p.m. or until they run out, the Wells Chamber of Commerce Silent Auction from noon to 3 p.m., a free concert featuring The Windmills from 6:30-8:30 p.m., a bonfire at 8 p.m. and a talent show at 8:30 p.m. Free activities will take place from noon to 5 p.m. and include a children’s play area and safety identification, kid’s crabbing activity, paddle board demonstrations, remote control helicopter and drone demonstrations, Wells Police Department K9 demonstration, story book walk, pirate treasure hunt, doughnut eating challenge, lumberman’s challenge, the annual lobster trap toss and s’mores by the bonfire.

The 7th Annual Saco Main Street Car Show will showcase more than 100 vintage, muscle and special interest cars from all over New England from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in downtown Saco. Exhibition categories are: Pre-World War II Car; Pre-World War II Truck; Best of ’40s, ’50s, ’60s, ’70s and ’80s; Foreign Car; Post World War II Truck; Muscle Car; Street Rod and Special Interest. Admission is free for spectators, $7 for those that register a car. Pre-registration for car owners is available on the Saco Main Street website sacospirit.com and on the day of the event. This is held rain or shine. All registered entrants receive a ticket for door prizes and a dash plaque. The Hampton Inn by Hilton Saco is donating breakfast bags for the first 100 participants who arrive at the Car Show Saturday.

The 2nd Annual Saco River Trash Drive sponsored by the Saco River Salmon Club and Hatchery will be two days long. Last year’s drive resulted in the collection of about 3 tons of trash and debris removed from the three-mile stretch of river. This year’s drive will start at Rotary Park Boat Launch in Biddeford and clean the stretch of river from Bar Mills to the Cataract Dams. Preregistration is required. A bake sale to benefit Children’s Tumor Foundation will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., 13 Dion Lane, Lyman. An indoor garage sale will also be set up. Homemade blueberry tarts, whoopie pies, fudge, soda, bottled water and cookies will be for sale, and donations are accepted.

Tierney Sutton, five-time Grammy nominated jazz singer, will be appearing live at Jonathan’s Ogunquit, 92 Bourne Lane, at 8 p.m. Sutton will be presenting her show “After Blue: The Joni Mitchell Project” featuring Mark Summer and Serge Merlaud. Tickets start at $37.50 in advance and $42.50 day of.

The Saco River Jazz Ensemble will appear at the Tory Hill Meetinghouse, 1197 River Road, Buxton. The band, composed of local musicians from teenage students to senior retirees, is well known throughout the area for its “big –bands era” sound. The two-hour outdoor concert, which will be inside the church in case of rain, will begin at 5:30 p.m. Donations in support of the group are encouraged and hot dogs, chips, water, soda and homemade desserts will be available for purchase.
