
He was born in Biddeford on June 19, 1947 the son of Noel and Blanche Giroux Lemay.
David attended local schools and graduated from Biddeford High School.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict.
After his service to his country, he was employed as a pipefitter at the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, retiring in 1998.
David enjoyed scratch tickets, his friends at Doc’s Tavern, word search and the company of his cat Smokey.
Survivors include his daughter Robyn Mozzicato and husband Richard of Biddeford; a sister Theresa Lancaster of Kentucky; and two grandchildren Justin and Mya.
A graveside committal service will be held Friday, Jan. 12, 2018 at 1 p.m. at the Maine Veterans Cemetery, Stanley Road, Springvale and will conclude with U.S. Air Force military honors.
Dennett, Craig & Pate Funeral Home and Cremation 365 Main St., Saco, are entrusted with his arrangements.
