Biddeford junior Nate Huot was one of the most complete players in the state of Maine this season, getting it done both at the plate and on the mound. Huot was third in the SMAA in hitting with a .442 batting average, 10th in slugging percentage (.535), fifth in on-base percentage (.547) and was tied for the second-most RBIs in the league with 13. On the mound, Huot received the Edson Hadlock Award as the SMAA’s most valuable pitcher after completing the season with a perfect 7-0 record; the left-hander was third in the league with a 0.62 ERA and a .149 opponents batting average and also led the league with 45 innings pitched.
