BRUNSWICK — Roberta Mae Penfold, 87, died Oct. 21, 2012 at a Brunswick hospital.
She was born in Brunswick Dec. 23, 1924, the daughter of Harry & Florence (Soule) Crooker.
Roberta worked in the Portland area for years in the hospitality industry. In her later years she devoted her time to caring for the elderly. She enjoyed traveling and people.
She was predeceased by a son Raymond William Penfold the III; survivors include her children; Ronald Penfold of FL; Sandra Gabrouy of OR; Richard Hutchinson of NC; her sisters Frances Robshaw and Betty Baribeau both of Brunswick; 9 grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Direct Cremation of Maine, Belfast. Online condolences can be placed at www.Directcremationofmaine.com.
