Stan Gerzofsky is a commonsense lawmaker who understands the importance of compromise. During his tenure at the State House, Stan has earned the respect of fellow legislators and he’s proven time and again his solid commitment to the people he represents. Stan shows great integrity and will be honest with his constituents on where he stands on any issue. While Stan has certainly made his mark in Augusta, those of us who know him recognize that his number one passion is his constituents. If you haven’t already gone to one of Stan’s Saturday “office hours” at a local establishment in the District, it’s well worth the trip. (Senator Gerzofsky is at the Little Dog in Brunswick every 1st Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon and the Bow Street Market in Freeport the last Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon.)
Stan will fill you in on what’s happening in Augusta. He’ll help you understand the impact legislation could potentially have on you, your family, your business or your community. More importantly, he’ll listen to your concerns and take your recommendations to heart. If you’ve got a problem, Stan will work with you to find a solution. Let’s make sure that the people of Senate District 24 have the best possible representation at the State House. Vote for Stan Gerzofsky on November 4th.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
