BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick High School jayvee Orange girls soccer team captured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Freeport on Wednesday.
The Dragon goals were scored by Portia Woestman and Mackenzie Dorr. Solid defending by Emma Pelezki, Lizzy Koval, Greta Anesko, Riley Williams and Jenna Roane ensured the victory.
Abby Morthland, Lila Solberg and Emily Swan worked hard to control the midfield. The striking power was provided by Rae Banberger, Liz Fairbanks and Anna Parker.
Amanda Cloutier notched the win in goal for Brunswick.
