Alan F. Fortier
BATH – Alan F. Fortier, 69, of Bath, Maine, passed away at his home on April 6, 2026.
He was predeceased by his parents Francis and Grace Fortier, also of Bath.
He is survived by his wife Karen Fortier of Bath; his daughter Jennifer Gilman and her family of Phippsburg; his stepchildren of Maine and New York; and his eight grandchildren who considered him the “Best Grampa Ever!”
Alan was a long-time member of the Bath Elks 934.
Alan’s true passion was fishing. He spent most of his life on the water with his fishing partners, self proclaimed (World Brothers) Ken Wills And Butch Gibb.
Alan will be missed by family and too many friends to count.
A remembrance will be held at the Inn At Bath, 969 Washington St, Bath, on Saturday, April 18 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
