Beverly Young and incumbent Francis Pulsoni won seats on the Buxton board of selectmen, earning 1,076 and 720 votes, respectively, according to unofficial election results.
They will serve three-year terms. Board Chair David Field fell short of being re-elected, receiving a total of 684 votes.
Town Clerk John Myers won the uncontested race for another three-year term in his role. Roger Tracy won an uncontested race to keep his planning board seat for another three years.
No one appeared on the ballot for a one-year planning board seat, so voters wrote in a variety of names. Young and Chris Baldinelli received the most votes, at five each.
Richard Fitzgerald won an uncontested race for another three-year term on the budget committee. For the second seat on the committee, a total of 17 voters wrote in Cody St. Louis.
About two-thirds of voters supported creating a town charter commission, whose members will be elected in November. The group will be tasked with revising the municipal charter outlining the town government’s structure.
Buxton residents will vote on 80 articles, including the town budget, at the annual town meeting at 9 a.m. on June 13 at Buxton Town Hall.
