The Maine Office of Cannabis Policy issued a recall Tuesday for adult use cannabis flower produced by Green Trap, which was sold at retail stores in Eliot, Berwick, Lebanon, Oxford, Rockland and Bangor.

The strain “Drip Burger” sold between April 29 and June 8 was found to have unsafe levels of yeast and mold during audit testing conducted by the office. The recall includes flower products sold in eighth of an ounce and half-ounce quantities.

The affected batch numbers are DRPBRG032626 and DRPBGR032626. Batch numbers can be found under “product information” on a label affixed to the package.

Inhaling such cannabis can lead to sinus issues, allergies, headaches, dizziness or fatigue, according to a news release from the agency.

The stores where this product was sold include the following, according to the office:

  • Alternative Essence in Oxford
  • Belvidere Farm in Rockland
  • Kind Farm Reserve in Berwick
  • North Country Cannabis in Lebanon
  • OG Cannabis in Eliot
  • Rock Steady in Bangor
  • The Stoned Moose in Bethel

Consumers who purchased this product should return it or dispose of it. People who have ingested this product and are experiencing symptoms or any reaction are advised to contact a healthcare provider or dial 911 if there is a medical emergency, the release stated.
