Robert “Bob” “Butch” Tracy Sr.
OLD ORCHARD BEACH – Robert “Bob” “Butch” Tracy Sr., 78, passed away at his home in Old Orchard Beach on June 16, 2026, surrounded by his family.
He was born in Portland on Dec. 14, 1947, to Leland and Barbara M. Tracy. Bob was the oldest of 12 children. He attended Portland schools and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. Bob worked as a carpenter and home builder for many years before his retirement.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son Robert “Robbie” Jr.; sister, Bunny Hutchins and brother, Dick Tracy.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Tracy of Old Orchard Beach; his children, Kevin Tracy of Saco, Todd Tracy and his wife Tammy of Hiram, Tamara Tracy of Sebago and Stephen Tracy of Portland and a stepdaughter, Julie Conrad of Quincy, Mass..; siblings Barbara Cutler and her husband Douglas, Sharon Heath and her husband Sonny, Karen Rutter, Esther Tracy, Gayle Bolles, Chet Tracy and his wife Pam, Danny Desrochers and his wife Cindy, Louie Tracy and his wife Barbara, Joey Tracy and his wife Pam; 12 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday June 20 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Poitras, Neal & York Funeral Home, 71 Maple St., Cornish. Online condolence messages can be submitted at http://www.mainefuneral.com
