Gardiner’s Molly Takatsu hits a one-out single and advances to second on an error. That’s significant because Medomak Valley pitcher Sidney Nicholls has been unhittable, and she has 10 no-hitters. It’s also significant because Gardiner chased Nicholls after 1/3 of an inning in teams’ regular season meeting, during which the Tigers scored 17 of the 29 runs the Panthers have allowed this season.
