Windham High School Alumni Association will hold a meeting May 2 at

7 p.m. in the Aikens Annex of the Community Center. This is the oldest organization in town and they will hold the annual banquet at Windham Middle School cafeteria, Saturday, May 14. Cost of each roast pork dinner is $10.

Wally and Charlotte Wyman have returned home after spending the winter in St. Cloud, Florida. They had a good winter and although some of the nights were quite cool it warmed up quickly in the daytime.

To Canada

Alan O’Brien and some other senior 4-H members recently spent three days touring some large dairy farms in Canada to see how they operated. Alan’s mother, Diane, also went on the trip as a chaperone.

To Florida

Lee-Ann Leadbetter and her nephew, Riley Young, left for Key West, Florida April 15. Her sister, Jo Cook, was married on April 17 and Riley was the ring bearer for his mother. They will return home April 23.

Visit

Herbert and Pearl Cram and daughter, Linda Jean, arrived yesterday from Toutle, Washington. They drove from Massachusetts after taking the train from Washington. They will stay with his sister, Elsie Haskell for a week. While here they will also visit other relatives and return to Massachusetts to visit her niece for two weeks.

Birthday

Melissa Bailey celebrated her birthday April 16. She spent the weekend doing spring cleanup at camp with her husband, Kevin, and daughter, Cassidy.

Meeting

The Windham Historical Society will meet April 25. The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. at the Historical Society building.

Birthday

Sylvia Day enjoyed her birthday on April 16 at Thatcher’s Restaurant. She celebrated with family and friends and really liked her balloons.
