The Windham Fire Department responded to a fire that destroyed half of a duplex on Mayberry Road at 5:10 p.m. Saturday. The fire was put out by 5:30 p.m. and there was no one inside. The cause of the fire is still unknown but is believed to have originated from the kitchen. A neighbor called 911 after hearing the flames.
