3/24 at 10:52 p.m. Richard Hagan Jr., 29, of Clover Leaf Lane, Scarborough, was arrested by Officer Eric Lippincott and charged with domestic violence assault.

3/27 at 12:05 p.m. Paul Dumont, 62, of Cascade Road, Old Orchard Beach, was arrested by Sgt. Mary Pearson and charged with operating under the influence.

3/27 at 12:58 p.m. Cameron Walker, 20, of Sawyer Road, Scarborough, was arrested by Officer Michael Beeler and charged with criminal threatening and violating bail condition of release.

3/27 at 7:30 p.m. Nicole Laviolette, 25, of McClellan Street, Lisbon, was arrested by Officer Shawn Anastasoff and charged with theft by unauthorized taking/transfer and assault.

3/28 at 2:15 a.m. Brian Higgins, 28, of Stevens Avenue, Westbrook, was arrested by Officer Craig Hebert and charged with domestic violence assault and obstructing report of crime.

3/23 at 1:05 p.m. Four 15-year-olds were issued summonses by Detective Francis Plourd on a charges of theft by unauthorized taking/transfer.

3/23 at 3:21 p.m. Patricia Pickering, 54, of Court Lane, Arundel, was issued a summons by Officer Brian Nappi on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking/transfer.

3/24 at 1:31 p.m. A juvenile, 16, was issued a summons by Officer Brian Nappi on a charge of theft by unauthorized taking/transfer. 

3/25 at 5:28 p.m. Carol Suarez, 47, of Route 1, Scarborough, was issued a summons by Sgt. Steven Thibodeau on a charge of operating when license is suspended/revoked.

Rest room unrest

3/23 at 9:58 a.m. Officers discovered the bathrooms at Memorial Park Field House had been vandalized during the night. Someone had ripped down metal stall dividers, yanked dispensers off the walls and strewn toilet paper around the rooms, according to police. In their investigation, police learned a key to the bathrooms had been stolen months before from Community Services but had not been reported missing. Damage was estimated to be about $500.

Lifting purses

3/23 at 1:05 p.m. Four juveniles were issued summonses after stealing a purse from the weight room at Scarborough High School. The purse and its contents were recovered.

Hunting the big bucks

3/23 at 3:21 p.m. Police issued a summons to a Cabela’s employee for a series of fraudulent returns she made over the last three months. According to police, on at least seven occasions, Patricia Pickering, 44, of Arundel, took in returned merchandise and credited the money to her own Visa account instead of the customers’ credit card accounts. The total amount of the fraud is allegedly $1,126.

Flea market find

3/26 at 11:48 p.m. Police responded to a report of an unauthorized vehicle, deserted without license plates in the Cliffs Flea Market parking lot on Route 1. After some checking on the new Land Rover, officers discovered the vehicle had been erroneously delivered there instead of to the Land Rover dealership across the street.
