GRAY – A two-story garage collapsed this morning, most likely from the snow load on the roof.

A dispatcher with the Cumberland County Sheriff’s office said the building was at 31 Ramsdell Rd. and local fire departments were on the scene. There was no immediate report of injuries.

Heavy snow this year has caused other buildings to collapse and the weight on the roof was likely increased from additional snow and rain overnight.

The dispatcher said there may have been an apartment on the second floor of the garage, but that couldn’t be confirmed immediately.
