A horse was on the side of Burnham Road at 10:18 p.m. on May 24.

Rec theft

A radio was stolen from the Recreation Department bus on South Street, police were told on May 24.

Jewelry stolen

Officer Mark Sanborn investigated theft of jewelry on May 25 on Ossipee Trail.

Disarm spouse

A caller on May 25 asked police to remove two guns and knives, which belonged to a spouse, from their truck on Finn Parker Road.

Needed a friend

A dog followed a caller home to Dewayne’s Way on May 26 and the dog didn’t leave.

Rude dudes

Door-to-door salesmen in late May were reported rude when customers didn’t buy on McQuillians Hill Drive, Bradford Drive and Dana Street. Peddlers were also reported on Fort Hill and Day roads.

Landlord lockout

A tenant broke into their own apartment after a landlord changed locks, police were told on May 27 in a call from Main Street. Then, 45 minutes later, a Main Street caller claimed to have paperwork that a woman had to vacate the residence.

Beer cans deposit

Beer cans were discarded on middle school property on Weeks Road on May 320.
