A low-cost spay-neuter clinic has opened at the Animal Welfare Society, Holland Road, West Kennebunk. Low-income pet owners can get an animal neutered and a health exam for $39.95, and a rabies shot is $8 more. For information, call 985-3244, ext. 120.

The following animals are available for adoption. If interested in adopting, call 985-3244 or visit www.animalwelfaresociety.org.

Dixie is an easygoing, 8-year-old dog who prefers taking a long stroll with her people over bounding after a toy. She gets along great with other easygoing dogs, cats and respectful children over the age of 12.

Domino is a 13-year-old black and white cat, and while a senior citizen, she still has lots of life and love left in her. She’s a very calm girl and likes to spend her time watching the world around her. Domino is talkative as well.
