Mainer Furbush to makefirst Major League start

Lefty Charlie Furbush of South Portland is scheduled to make his first Major League start for the Detroit Tigers Monday night against the Los Angeles Angels.

Furbush, who had been pitching in middle relief out of the bullpen, was promoted to the starting rotation today, according to the Detroit News.
