Finest Hearth Inc. has closed its stores and is liquidating its business. The company, which ran Finest Hearth and Home stores in Portland, Yarmouth and Topsham, filed a voluntary petition for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on Monday.
The company’s unsecured creditors include more than 200 customers with deposits totaling $451,201.
