Maine Crafts Association is seeking exhibitors to sell their wares at summer craft markets at the Kennebunk Travel Plaza this summer.

The markets will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays during July and August and on Labor Day weekend.

The outdoor crafts market is open to individuals, groups and organizations. Saturdays and other dates also may be available.

Fee is $40 per show or $100 for three shows. Space is limited.

Technology school honors students

Biddeford Regional Center of Technology recently honored Katherine Murray, from the Legal Studies program, and Dylan Robinson, from the Electrical Technology program, as Students of the Month for April. 

Those students received monetary awards from TD Bank.

Other students nominated for the award included Joshua Bonney, Dustin Cady, Alan Couture, Heather Currier, Addison Dunn, Shane Lafontaine, Jeremie Roberge and Ann Marie Rowe.�

Visual and performing arts celebration

Kindergarten through Grade 12 students presented their best works for the Annual Maine School Administrative District 6 Visual and Performing Arts Night held recently at Bonny Eagle Middle School.

Performances included a middle school recital from band and chorus members and Grade 5 All-District band and chorus students.

Junior and senior high school theater arts students performed dramas and art students displayed their works.
