THE CAL RIPKEN District 4 Baseball Tournaments were held in Bath on Wednesday. In the U10 contest, Ararat held on for a 1-0 victory over Bath at Hawkes Field. However, both teams advanced to the Cal Ripken State Championship in Harrison beginning July 7 after District 7 elected not to send a representative. In the U12 contest, Lisbon forced tonight’s “if” game (5:30 p.m. on Kimball Field) with a 9-5 victory over Ararat.
