SOUTH PORTLAND – Peter Potthoff led off the bottom of the 12th inning with a double and scored on a single by Felix Del Vecchio to give second-seeded First Title a 7-6 victory against fifth-seeded Andrews Post in an American Legion Zone 4 elimination game Wednesday at Wainwright Fields.
First Title (15-7) will meet Cumberland at 4:30 p.m. today with the winner advancing to the state tournament.

FAYETTE-STAPLES 9, MASSABESIC 3: Alex Fallon and Drew Lavigne hit RBI singles during a five-run seventh inning as top-seeded Fayette-Staples (14-5) pulled away from fourth-seeded Massabesic (12-7) at Saco.
Fayette-Staples will meet Kennebunk in the final at 4 p.m. today at Old Orchard Beach.
KENNEBUNK 6, SACO-BIDDEFORD SAVINGS 0: Lucas Butterfield hit a two-run single to spark a three-run first inning, and Taylor Landry scattered 10 hits and struck out nine as second-seeded Kennebunk (13-6) downed third-seeded Saco-Biddeford Savings (12-7) at Kennebunk.
LEGION ZONE 3
WINDHAM MERCHANTS 1, BETHEL 0: Cody Dube pitched a one-hitter with 11 strikeouts and no walks as second-seeded Windham Merchants won a semifinal at Windham.
Windham will play at top-seeded Lewiston in the final at 5:30 p.m. today.

FALMOUTH 3, OA-YARMOUTH 2: Austin Crouch allowed two hits and struck out eight to lift visiting Falmouth (4-12) over OA-Yarmouth (10-6) in eight innings.
SMITH-TOBEY 4, GRAY-NEW GLOUCESTER 3: Josh McDougal gave up one run over five innings of relief as Smith-Tobey (6-10) edged Gray-New Gloucester (8-7) in eight innings at Gray.
BABE RUTH 13-15
PORTLAND 5, SOUTHERN YORK 2: Brad Sowerby scattered six hits and struck out nine over 62/3 innings, and also had two hits and two RBI as Portland advanced to the final at Deering Oaks in Portland.

AERO HEATING 7, YANKEE FORD 2: Dave Nieves hit an RBI triple, and Jake Gardiner and Mitch Beaulieu added RBI singles in a four-run first inning for Aero Heating (11-7) at Scarborough.
LENDERS NETWORK 3, PATRIOT INSURANCE 2: Chris Portas hit a two-run double in the first inning and broke a 2-2 tie with an RBI double in the sixth to lead Lenders Network (8-6-2) over Patriot Insurance (4-13) at Cumberland.
