WOOLWICH — Lois Cook Hilliker died October 8, 2012. She was born June 15, 1920 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. She was the daughter of Milton Lorne Cook and Hazel McMenemy Cook. She was educated at Eastern Michigan State University. She married Clinton R. Hilliker in Rochester, New York.
She was a gardener, traveler, entrepreneur and social volunteer. In California, she recorded college text books for “Recording for the Blind”.
She is survived by her husband, two sons, a daughter, daughter-in-law, grandson and great grandson.
Funeral services will be held at the Day’s Ferry Congressional Church on Old Stage Road, Day’s Ferry on Saturday, October 13th at 10:30 am. Burial will be in Lynn, Massachusetts. Memorial contributions may be made to the Day’s Ferry Congressional Church, Old Stage Road, Woolwich, ME. 04579.
