I was glad to read the guest column by Rep. Christine Powers a couple of weeks ago. She is dead right on how important well-maintained roads are, and I wanted to thank her for voting yes to send the transportation bond to the voters.

Infrastructure around the country, including Maine, is aging and needs maintenance. The more we delay, the more it will cost in terms of repair, and in terms of lost business opportunities.
