BRUNSWICK
Three people were injured in a chain-reaction car accident Wednesday on Pleasant Street, police said.
Police said the accident occurred at around 3 p.m. when Sherrie Dentico, 56, of Bowdoin, stopped for traffic and two other vehicles — driven by Pamela Creamer, 63, of Westbrook, and Sidney
Garcia, 17, of Brunswick, stopped behind her.
But police said Charlene Willey, 57, of Bath, failed to stop in time and collided with Garcia’s car and started the domino effect. Dentico was not injured; her car sustained minimal damage.
Willey and Garcia were treated and released from Mid Coast Hospital. The crash occurred near 101 Pleasant St.
Creamer was taken to Parkview Adventist Medical Center, but no information regarding the extent of injuries was available today.
Police kept traffic moving with one lane open in each direction as they untangled the wreck.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
