BRUNSWICK — A regional program is offering free tax preparation assistance to low-income families from Jan. 30 to April 8.
The Midcoast Creating Assets Savings and Hope Coalition will provide assistance to individuals or families who earned less than $51,000 in 2013.
The coalition, founded in 2007, will also offer referrals for budgeting assistance, credit counseling and small business workshops.
Counseling is available in Bath, Brunswick, Richmond and Wiscasset. Appointments can be made by calling 321-8375.
