CAMBRIDGE, Vt. (AP) — Vermont State Police say yet another tractor trailer is stuck on Route 108, the narrow windy mountain pass through Smugglers’ Notch.
Police said Thursday evening that the road is closed while crews work to clear it.
The news comes the day after another tractor trailer got stuck, forcing the closure of the road on Wednesday.
Police are reminding drivers to heed all signs regarding road ways.
Authorities say tractor trailers and other large vehicles are not allowed through Smugglers’ Notch and tie up emergency services for long periods of time when they get stuck.
