KENNEBUNK — Kip Richard hit Liam Studley on a 10-yard touchdown pass with 3:19 to play for the winning score as Kennebunk (2-4) rallied past Morse (3-3) for a 28-22 victory in a Western Class B football game on Friday night at Veteran’s Memorial Field.

Patrick Saunders scored on a pair of 20-yard TD runs for the Rams (2-4), the second with 8:42 to play to tie the game at 22-22. Harrison Vosburgh had opened the scoring for the Rams with a 5-yard TD run 4:19 into the game.

Field Hockey

Thornton Academy 3, Bonny Eagle 0

STANDISH — Ashley Houp, Carli Legere and Libby Pomerleau scored first-half goals as Thornton Academy beat Bonny Eagle in an SMAA field hockey game on Friday.

Allie Romprey and Grace Pickering added assists for the Golden Trojans (10-3). Thornton coach Lori Smith also picked up her 100th career victory with the win.

Massabesic 6, Windham 2

WATERBORO —Massabesic scored five first-half goals to down Windham in an SMAA field hockey game on Friday.

Emma Rutledge scored three goals for the Mustangs (4-6-3), while Mira Kuni added two and Maggie Redman one.

Emily Skvoak and Matti Marcello scored for the Eagles (3-9-1).

Thornton Academy 2, Deering 0

SACO — Cassidy Cochrane scored 3:51 into the game and Hannah McAlary added a goal 20 minutes later as Thornton Academy topped Deering in an SMAA girls soccer game on Friday at Hill Stadium.

Tori Daigle assisted on both goals.

Emily Mooney made 19 stops in goal for Deering (6-4), while Lexi Nason made one save for Thornton (10-1).
