Democrat Cathy Breen will make an excellent state senator in Senate District 25 (Cumberland, Falmouth, Gray, Yarmouth, Chebeague Island, Long Island, and parts of Westbrook). Having served in the Maine Legislature from 2008-2012, I know how much of a learning curve the work entails, and Breen’s intelligence, personality and grit are just what is needed to quickly get up to speed and have success in statewide policy discussions. I also support Breen because she is a stalwart supporter of Maine’s environment, which is needed in Augusta. Breen has already demonstrated strength in policy in her time as a councilor in Falmouth, which will transfer nicely to the committee work in Augusta. I urge you strongly to join me in voting for Breen as your new state senator.
