WATERVILLE — Waterville police are investigating a bank robbery in which the thief “made a threat of violence” to the teller.
Police say a man walked into the TD Bank branch on Main Street just before 6 p.m. Thursday and handed the teller a note that contained the threat.
The teller handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the robber fled on foot toward Appleton Street.
