BATH — Laura Wigand Johnson and Nathan Gordon Johnson were married on Oct. 4, 2014, in Bath. The wedding took place beside the Kennebec River on the grounds of Maine Maritime Museum. Stephen Woodsum officiated.

Rachel Campbell served as matron of honor and Anna Bishop was a bridesmaid, both of Boston, Mass. Thomas Stefaney of Weymouth, Mass., was the best man and Christopher Wigand, brother of the bride, of Orinda, Calif., served as groomsman. Aaron Johnson of Weymouth, Mass., was ring bearer.

Music for the ceremony was provided by Danielle Paus, harpist. A reception was held at Long Reach Hall, Maine Maritime Museum, in Bath.

The bride, daughter of Dr. Frederick Wigand and Debra Wigand of Brunswick, is Illness Prevention Lead at the Washington State Department of Health’s Shellfish Program. The groom, son of Bennett and Lynne Johnson of Weymouth, Mass., works at the Center for Natural Lands Management as an Invasive Species Program Manager. The couple met while pursuing master’s degrees at the University of Washington in Seattle.

The couple lives outside of Olympia, Wash.
