The Chocolate Church Arts Center is presenting its 2015 Student Art Show. The show runs through May 23 in the art gallery at 804 Washington St., Bath. Advanced placement art students from Morse High School and from Hyde School have work on display featuring a variety of mediums.
“This exhibit showcases the talented high school students from both schools blended together,” said Jennifer Wilkey, curator and Chocolate Church Arts Center Board of Trustee. “The exhibit flows nicely with diverse pieces from students exploring creative outlet.”
The Art Gallery is open on Tuesdays from noon to 4 p.m., Wednesdays and Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Fridays from noon to 4 p.m. and Saturdays, April 25 and May 2, from noon to 2 p.m. Visit www.chocolatechurcharts.org or call 442-8455 for more information.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
