BIDDEFORD — Jo-Anne R. Clark, 69, of Biddeford, died Sunday, May 31, 2015 at her home after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Biddeford on June 5, 1945 the daughter of Paul and Cecile Credit Lambert. She was educated in Biddeford schools and graduated from Biddeford High School with the class of 1963.

Ms. Clark worked as an accountant for Autowize Auto Parts, the Webber Hospital and Southern Maine Health Care in Biddeford and New England Life Care in Kennebunk and Scarborough, retiring in 2013.

She volunteered at the Biddeford Free Clinic for 20 years. She enjoyed going to Ogunquit Playhouse and going on bus trips.

She was preceded in death by: two sisters, Jacqueline Belanger in 1999, and Suzanne Millette in 1997; and her longtime friend, Carl P. Hevey on May 25, 2015.

She is survived by: a son, Kevin Clark and his wife Marissa of Melrose, Massachusetts; two brothers, Richard P. Lambert and his wife Connie of Biddeford, and Theodore LeBlond and his wife Ginny of Mesa, Arizona; two sisters, Jeannine Lehoux and her husband Marc of Biddeford, and Constance Dale of Lyman; two grandchildren, Paloma and Aurelia Clark of Melrose, Massachusetts; and several nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be Wednesday, June 3 from 4-7 p.m. at Hope Memorial Chapel.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Thursday, June 4 at Most Holy Trinity Church in Saco. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Biddeford.
